Great Grandma Wilson was thrilled to have us up to her house for the day. We all spent some time at one of the lakes in town. The weather was really nice and Trenton was ecstatic to see fish swimming right below the surface of the water.
Grandma is a bit obsessed with birds and was really into this cormorant that had landed on the dock. Another flew by later ("There's TWO cormorants here!?!?") and eventually, Jim swam out to the dock, causing this bird to flee!
Upon our return to her house, Carolyn, Peter, Chrysanne, and Elise came over to visit. It was Chrysanne's 11th birthday and we celebrated with a huge cookie cake. Thanks, Carolyn, for letting us bring some home for later, too!
