The Bluesteens came up for the weekend to visit Chris's dad in Cherry Hill. Together, we all went to see a
Trenton Thunder baseball game! They are the double A affiliates of the Yankees and only 30 minutes from our home. It was T and E.B.'s first minor-league game (the older kids went with Jim and Chris to a Blueclaws game
last year). Below, Jim and T re-create the statue next to them... ha!

This ballpark had a Kidcessions stand, which was cool because they offered kid-friendly food at a reduced price. Trenton loved the PBJ he got ;) Below, Grandpa Bluesteen explains part of the game to Jared and Marcus.

Jim and Justin watch the game, as Ethan thinks about eating...

He was sooo thrown off by the giant cow running around, until I told him that it was a costume ("Just like Halloween") and there was a man inside it. Then he got it and was fine. But still didn't want to go anywhere near it.

Above, the Chick Fil A guy; below, Boomer, the Thunder's mascot.

That night, there was actually a scheduled double-header; both games were to be 7 innings long. We left just at the end of the first game... some guy came up and hit a walk-off homer to win the game. Cool! Also, all the kids got trophies commemorating last year's EL title win.
