Our friends, the Bollards, invited us to go crabbing with them in Lavalette. The pier was nice and not too crowded. We borrowed Grandpa Lacina's crab traps and nets and had a great time catching crabs with cheap-o chicken. Although I was nervous about T accidentally falling in, he did a good job of staying on the dock (and the water was probably only about three feet deep anyway). Keeper size was 4 inches; we threw all of them back.
