One Last Time on the Rides

Beautiful summer week. Had to get out of the house this evening.
So we were off to Pt. Pleasant.
Trenton got on the train no problem. This is probably his sixth time riding it this year.

He actually sat NEXT to me. Not on my lap, not with his arms around my neck death-grip style, not screaming... just sitting nicely next to Mommy.

But he kept me close. How cute is that little hand!?

Yah get two loops on this train. Nice that it takes you past all the other rides.

Next stop was the carousel. He hasn't been on this one yet... we watched people on it while we waited in line. Then he was fine with me putting him on the horse-- shocker. He kept looking up as there were light bulbs attached to stars on the tarp above.

Halfway through the ride he got upset and I took him off the horse. We sat on the chair thing behind it (yes, I strategically chose this horse for the nearby bench).

We had some ice cream (well, yogurt... the custard is better, but who knows how many calories?) and went into an arcade. Trenton LOVED watching the kids play SkeeBall and even tried to steal a few balls... someday that can be his sport!

One last stop at the rides before we had to head home.
Maybe we'll try those balloons next year.
Wait! What is this?!

FISH! F-I-S-H! He was going nuts! I had to get out the camera to take his picture as he jumped near the fence... then he climbed right through the fence! And the ride was moving! (picture below shows him halfway, before I ditched the camera and caught the kid)

He pitched a fit when I picked him up out of the ride... I told him if he really wanted to go he could, but that I couldn't go with him. He seemed okay with that!

He was pretty serious at the beginning of the ride here... you can watch the video to see how it went.
