A Day in Cranford

Today we went to Cranford for visiting. What a great town! Jim's dad grew up there, his mom still lives there, and our friend Melissa lives there, too. The downtown is gorgeous and there is a train station that puts you in The City in about a half hour.

We began our trip by stopping in to see Great Grandma Konopack and Aunt Carole. Trenton loved seeing the cats and went easily to Aunt Carole! Although we didn't stay long, we did get a chance to talk with Great Grandma a bit.

Then it was off to meet Melissa at Lincoln Park. Trenton absolutely loved playing in this plastic tube area. He also was thrilled to kick a borrowed soccer ball and toss a borrowed basketball. Melissa made us a yummy lunch- quiche and fruit- and T ate it all up! Thanks for having us over, Melissa.
