This weekend we went camping at Belleplain State Park in Cape May County (at the bottom of the state). It is just south of the Pine Barrens, and offered lots of beautiful trees, a few lakes, and plenty of toads for Trenton to catch.

The campground had this really cool fitness trail. There were a dozen different stations that you could try out. And we did them all!
On Saturday morning we went to the Cape May County Zoo. It was free! Everyone definitely enjoyed seeing all the different animals. They were so lively!
In the afternoon, we went to Wildwood. This is where my family vacationed when I was a kid. We took Trenton on rides at the same piers that we visited 15 years ago! He had a blast playing this dancing game at the arcade while we waited out a rainstorm. And yes, that's Jim and I with our arms up on The Great White (roller coaster).
On Sunday, we visited the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. There were fantastic displays of everything related to the immediate area. We had a birds-eye-view from a lookout tower of all the marshlands. Trenton really enjoyed the hands-on exhibits. So much nature in one weekend... but we loved it!
