Trip to NYC For Brayden's BD

Ahh, commuting! Today was Brayden's birthday party and we were psyched to join the festivities in NYC! We drove to Hoboken and took the PATH over to the city. Trenton really liked the train. Got right in and sat right next to some lady and said "Hi Lady." Too cute!

I can't believe Brayden is one already! Such a good baby :) Making the transition now to drinking milk from a cup, crusing everywhere, and teething a bit. This time next year, he and Trenton will be getting into something... I'm sure of it!

Trenton loved the party hat and insisted that Brayden have one, too.

Brooke got to join in on her godson/nephew's party, as her college was on spring break and she was home for the week.

Man, did he like that cake! Jennifer did a fantastic job of making Cookie Monsters out of cupcakes. I should have taken a picture BEFORE they ate 'em!

We headed over to James J. Walker Park to kill some time while waiting to meet Kevin for lunch. I think Trenton remembers this park from the video we took way back in the early summer (he watches it on the blog). He remembered chasing the pigeons. Now that's how you know he's not a city kid-- he'll spend 15 minutes chasing after pigeons! He really liked it when he got close enough to make them fly away and perch nearby.

This is what I get for saying "Let me see your mouth"... he is hard to capture when he's moving around so quickly! He was actually crawling around on the ground, under the equipment, after the pigeons!

Uncle Kevy even made a trip out from Queens to see us! He just got new glasses--- niiice, eh? They go well with his freshly shaved head ;)

So tired... by the time we got in the car, it was almost 3:00. He slept on and off (through the sun glare) the whole ride home, and is still sleeping now! I better go wake him up...
