Grandma and Trenton saw Sesame Street Live yesterday at the State Theatre in New Brunswick. She was babysitting, as I had to do a classroom visit for class. I had heard that they were in town and we decided this would be a great show for him to see. But would he sit through it?

Yes! Turns out he was fascinated by all the lights and the moving characters. Mom said that there were themes throughout-- Oscar's World, finding the letter of the day, helping Super Grover fly, creating a healthy lunch... After an hour, they had an intermission, followed by another half hour of performance. Although we had purchased balcony seats, they were able to move down to some better available seats below. They even got to dance in the aisle!

Afterwards, Grandma bought him this cool Elmo light-up toy! (As well as a CD, program, and a balloon...) They were a bit disappointed that the characters didn't come out for pictures at the end. But there was this giant poser!
