It was so gorgeous out on Friday, I decided we needed to play outside. Last September I had bought a sandbox for T at a yard sale for $3! It was one of those nice Little Tykes ones with the lid. Probably only big enough for one kid, but totally worth the price, right? Anyway, after our morning at the gym, we headed back out to Toys R Us and bought three 50 lb. bags of sand. Two fit, and I figured we'd save one to 'refill'. Despite many warnings about keeping the sand in the box, it inevitably gets out. I think he was a little thrown off about the idea of seeing sand not at the beach. That's a first for him! But, thanks to some sand toys for his birthday, he's got lots to do to keep busy. Let's hope the weather warms up again so that he can play some more...
