The afternoon was spent in West Side Park. Trenton had a bit of a nap in his stroller while we ate downtown at one of my favorite places - Aroma Cafe. Workers were busy setting up for a kids- day event that was going to be held the next day.
It was hot but the trees offered lots of shade.
Above is a picture of Carle Hospital where Trenton was born. I made Jim reach out the window and take a picture of it as we sat at the light. He got a really great shot of a Budget truck, too! ;)
Looking at that hospital from this intersection reminded me of when I was in labor and I knew we only had one light to go... little did I know I was also 7 cm dilated!
We got milkshakes at The Courier Cafe in Urbana and strolled around the neighborhood streets in an attempt to get T to nap again. But when we passed this giant turtle in a playground, he was immediately up, saying "Tur-TLE!" Oh well... nap schedule was shot for the week, anyway ;)
