Our stay in Illinois began at Kickapoo State Park. Fortunately we arrived at the same time that Grandma and Grandpa Konopack did! They would eventually continue on their trip out west, but it was relaxing to have dinner with them and play a bit.
I picked up some dessert from a great little place called The Dairy Barn in town.
