The CiRcUs!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Children of all ages! Welcome to Madison Square Garden, venue for the Greatest Show on Earth!
That's right, last week we took the train into the city to go to Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus.
My cousin Jennifer called the day before, asking if we'd like to join her at the circus. Her connections got us free tickets in box seats! It was nice to have our own bathroom, enclosed area, stadium seating, and section for the kids to move around freely as they watched the action below.

For the first hour, Trenton was glued to the glass. He found this little section where he could get a good view AND put his feet up. Brayden also was very interested in the lights and music below.

Elephants! One of them did a handstand... on it's front legs!

Trenton's favorite parts included the clowns. There were lots of them... very colorful and silly. He also liked the acrobats. He now tries to climb up the side of his crib while telling me, "I'm an acrobat, Mommy!"

The Grand Finale... a little fuzzy.

Now you think he'd sleep on the train ride home, right? Wrong. He loved looking out the window, people watching on the train, and kicking the seat in front of us (bad!). By the time we arrived at Grandmas at 3:45, he had just fallen asleep.... late nap that day!

How nice!!!
I wanted to take Maya to the circus, but I figured it'd be too early!
I guess not.
