This afternoon my friend Cathy and her husband Zak came up from DC for a New Jersey visit. The Clearwater Festival was taking place in Asbury Park, and we drove over to walk around and have dinner.
Trenton got to touch some crab claws and we checked out some kind of lawn-mowing robot.
Then we made his very first sand art! It was in a baby food jar and was promptly jostled into a rainbow mess.
After a dinner of some Trinidadian food, we walked out to the beach and had some fun throwing around the Frisbee. This was perhaps the best day of the summer-- low humidity and lots of sun. Glad we made the best of it with some great friends!
