They've gone to storytime at Barnes and Noble, fishing at the reservoir, and to see the animals at Petco and the environmental center.
Today was a fishing day... after walking around the trail a bit, they were able to catch a perch and two bass! T just loves it... came home with dirty hands and a big appetite.
He's been doing pretty well with the potty training. Our tricks are to put him in underwear pretty much all the time and to put him on the potty at least every two hours (and before and after naptime, bathtime, etc.). Sometimes he'll tell you when he has to go. Other times (like today) he won't. But he knows that having an accident usually means having to stop what you're doing to clean up... We're hoping that he continues doing well. He's even started 'holding it' through the night and waking up dry. Wowzers!
Usually, when he wakes up from his naps, he is cranky. Go figure! We can't tell if he is hungry, hurting, or what... most days he just cries and cries... so today, when he woke up, Jim went in to get him. I could not figure out what he did to make him stop crabbing so quickly! So I made my way into his bedroom... and no Trenton! I assumed they were watching TV... until I passed by our bedroom and saw this. Too cute!
PS I updated this post with scanned pics... too funny!
