Ahh, here we are at the Belmar Seafood Festival. Our friends Amanda and Wes had just gotten in from their trip out East from IL via Pittsburg (to see a Pirates game). And we had to give them a taste of Jersey! The festival was PACKED and all the food we ate was good-- crabcakes, lemonade, funnel cake... Trenton LOVED dancing to the music from the live band.
We missed this event last year (wedding? out of town?) and I really wanted to hit it up this year. Amanda was a good sport-- she doesn't like seafood! But she was able to find an innovative grilled cheese sandwich to eat ;) The following day we both went to NYC to see Mama Mia. A fantastic show. We got pulled out of line at TKTS and brought to the front because we were pregnant! Ha! I guess they didn't want any mommas passing out in the heat (heat wave of over 100 degrees lasted three days... ugh.)
