Just a Kid with Pneumonia

Does this look like a sick toddler to you!?

Poor T. He had a fever all day Saturday and Sunday. I was on the phone with the doctor first thing Monday morning. Other than the fever, he had no symptoms of illness. At the doctor's office, she decided that he should go to the hospital to have blood work done, a urine analysis, and a chest scan. The chest x-ray showed that he had pneumonia in both lungs! So we got two shots of medicine, some Benadryl for a slight reaction, and then we were sent home. The whole ordeal lasted eight hours! But it was better to go in as an out-patient, and have a room all to ourselves, than to have gone in the ER. Bottom line: he is doing much better.
